New solutions for new challenges


To achieve the unrivaled precision level and temperature behavior, we need to apply a very careful and tedious component selection during the manufacturing process. Most important are two main components: A massive cooling system mitigates thermal load and two extremely precise temperature sensors allow the user to be informed about even the slightest temperature change inside the resistor. 

When those temperature values are taken in account, the measurement precision can be increased by the factor five!

Nothing is impossible


Our continuous development and analysis of thousands of measurements have us enabled to produce a new type of resistor, basically stretching the physical limits. A long term stability of typ. < 3 ppm per year and a temperature coefficient of typ. better than 1ppm are the basic parameters of this resistor.

This resistors comes to shine when some load is applied. The deviation of the value at 1W load (that is 1A for a 1Ohms resistor!) is typically lower than 0.8ppm. That is some unrivaled performance for high load resistors. 

Yet, those resistors are as robust, error tolerant and easy to use as all models of our precision series RS9010A.

Current and Resistor


Metrology Institutes, Cal Labs and specialized Metrology Labs in the industry are using our High Load High Precision Resistors for measuring current and -resistors.
